Title: Great story just be ready to forgive editing

Review: As someone who regularly reads less than polished stuff I'm mostly insensitive to crimes against English. The editing quality of this book is best described as poor. Punctuation around characters speaking is in a sorry state and automatic spell correction seems to have resulted in many incorrect words being used for the given context so expect to give your brain a work-out substituting similar words until a sentence makes sense. For a specific sense of this editing failure: the word "drug" is used six times instead of "dragged" (just did full text search).

With that said, the story itself is a gem and I look forward to the next book. Some of the things I like:
* Summon to another world, times two, with great backstory and misunderstandings
* Dungeon core and general dungeon building with a twist towards teleportation usage
* Dark. Many characters get screwed over when pulled into another world. The "screwage" is seriously heavy in this book.
* All the characters feel pretty good. They interact nicely with each other, bond, etc. The dark lord is a raging *thing* as expected but the "lich master" is a surprisingly enthusiastic academic type who loves to expound on the wonders of necromancy. It's delicious.
* Deeper commentary on sidelining along gender lines, makes for really awkward moments for the "good guys"

Title: Buy it for the fine story, not the shoddy editing.

Review: Yes, whoever was supposed to proof-read this thing was busy somewhere else. I give it five stars for the story itself. (Strictly as rated by a grammar cop, it would be a three.) The characters, living and undead, are distinctly themselves, and Myers weaves their paths together in enjoyably surprising ways. Example: I bet you didn't know a dungeon could [REDACTED] ... sorry, you'll have to read the story to find out.

By the end of this first volume, most of the MCs have become familiar enough to care about, and a couple of them familiar enough to wish they could receive an orbital anvil drop. The book ends with at least three narrative threads yelling for continuation, so I'm hoping for another two or three volumes that continue the high story quality, but get properly proof-read before release.

Title: Good, but seriously in need of an edit.

Review: As others have said, this book is in need of some serious editing. Sentence punctuation and misspellings abound.

As for the story itself, i liked it. I found it an interesting take on the summoned to another world/dungeon building theme. Honestly did not care for the Francis chapters, they could be removed entirely and not affect the story at all.

While I look forward to the next book and the continuation of the series, i do hope the author does some serious editing before publishing. For those considering this book, download the sample first and see if you can tolerate the constant mental translation of misspellings and horrible punctuation.

Title: Dark Fantasy vs Heavenly Host

Review: I really loved the story. I love the character development of the main character. I really felt the forced changes of the main characters psyche and the fact he wanted to remain a normal guy. There are demons and angels both appear just as we normally as we imagine but the author was able to really twist and shape the story into an interesting juxtaposition where you despise the good and cheer for the bad. Don't let the complaints of poor editing from over this story. I for one want to read the next book.

Review: starts out a bit rough, and by the end it's like a student's first draft. Absolutely unprofessional. The author probably has some talent, but has yet to develop his writing skills.

Title: Excellent story, rough editing.

Review: This story has an interesting cast of characters, an interesting plot, and I am eagerly awaiting a sequel. The only thing that is stopping me from giving this 5 stars is the rough editing. I sincerely hope a 2nd edition will be released that fixes the odd comma placements and other typos.

Review: Many great ideas, but needs some serious editz. Completely ignores the rules on use of quotation marks and paragraph structure. Makes an interesting story get lost in a maze of unknown speakers and mixture of tenses.
